OLD TRAFFORD

Last week, my brother and I went to visit Old Trafford, the home ground of the greatest football club in the world - Manchester united! I now know why it’s called the Theatre Of Dreams, because going there in itself is a dream come true. The 76,000 sitter stadium is the 2nd biggest stadium in England behind Wembley and has been around since 1910. It is one of the most atmospheric, historic and wonderful football grounds in the world. And it’s not just United fans who think so.
Never in a million years did I ever think I would go there. The Eighth wonder of the world.
A trip to Old Trafford was more a pilgrimage than a day out. Walking down Sir Matt Busby Way with its famous mural, before the big structure began to appear, then you get into the stadium and you know you’re in for a day you’ll remember forever…
The tour involved visitor access to the very heart of Old Trafford, taking a look inside the vip sections, the United museum, player’s lounge, dressing rooms, players’ tunnel and the dugouts.

A little something for the ladies.  A guy proposed to his girlfriend during the tour of the stadium. Once we got to the changing rooms, he went down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes. A few second later she made a joke about the whole thing asking, “Of all places, the changing room?” There was just something about this place, the ambiance that brings about emotions and feelings like none other.. Only true fans, passionate about their football would understand.
