OLD TRAFFORD

Last week, my brother and I went to visit Old Trafford, the home ground of the greatest football club in the world - Manchester united! I now know why it’s called the Theatre Of Dreams, because going there in itself is a dream come true. The 76,000 sitter stadium is the 2nd biggest stadium in England behind Wembley and has been around since 1910. It is one of the most atmospheric, historic and wonderful football grounds in the world. And it’s not just United fans who think so.
Never in a million years did I ever think I would go there. The Eighth wonder of the world.
A trip to Old Trafford was more a pilgrimage than a day out. Walking down Sir Matt Busby Way with its famous mural, before the big structure began to appear, then you get into the stadium and you know you’re in for a day you’ll remember forever…
The tour involved visitor access to the very heart of Old Trafford, taking a look inside the vip sections, the United museum, player’s lounge, dressing rooms, players’ tunnel and the dugouts.

A little something for the ladies.  A guy proposed to his girlfriend during the tour of the stadium. Once we got to the changing rooms, he went down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes. A few second later she made a joke about the whole thing asking, “Of all places, the changing room?” There was just something about this place, the ambiance that brings about emotions and feelings like none other.. Only true fans, passionate about their football would understand.

The Global Citizen.

I know its been a minute(I absolutely loathe the people who say that, makes me wanna throw up each time I read/hear it,don't quite know why I wrote it). Its been long, really long since I wrote here. Two years and a half.....I think. The point is I'm now back to tell you all about my adventures, some good some bad, adventures none-the less.

I'm young. And for such an age I have to say I am lucky. No I'm blessed. I've traveled the globe. Been to many different countries all over the world. Experienced so many different cultures. Met so many different kinds of people.Interesting, boring, funny, sad, cool, tall, short, fat, thin, friendly, racist, black,
white ,beige, orange(yes orange, this white chic had eaten too many carrots,I swear I'm not making this up).

Gaza Strip, Palestine
Jerusalem, Israel

Paris, France

Sydney, Australia
Cairo,Egypt

London, England
Cologne, Germany
Washington D.C, USA

I love to travel. The way you love to sing,to read a novel or to paint. My thing is to travel. The world is a beautiful place. It would be a total waste if we didn't explore it.Its fascinating how different some places can be. Different weathers climates cultures. So bloody cold (Boston) and others so hot you'd think you would turn to charcoal if you stayed there too long(Masada fortress in Israel) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masada. Hottest place I've ever been to in my life. I felt like I was evaporating and I think some of me did(great idea to loose weight quick, not that I did). I'm writing this from Nottingham, England and the one thing I just can't get used to is the sun setting at 8pm. Its so disturbingly annoying. It messes my whole sleep pattern hence the reason I've been waking up at 3pm(I'm usually an early bird.lol). But I guess its just one of the many things I have to get used to.
I'll post up something for all the places I remember having visited and you can judge for yourself.

Feels good to be back!!

Finally doing it.

I've been joking around that I'll start a blog for a while now. Inspired by one MoothyRoothyI've decided to stop joking and actually do it. I hope I won't get bored like I normally do with many things in my life. I hope I won't run out of stuff to write about. I hope.....I hope.....sounds like I'm doing a commercial for apple so many I's. How hard could it be? It's just a story about the life and times of Afrosam !
